Beamed from the past

I am not much of a TV person for a couple of years now, but I felt strangely at home watching the season's premier of Boston Legal. Watching William Shatner and Heather Locklear in the same show, I was hypnotized in front of the tube as I was some 20 years ago watching T.J. Hooker.
Every time I see Shatner and Locklear in the same scene, I get flashbacks of the opening credits of the 80's cop show, where Shatner effortlessly nailed a bad guy by throwing his baton to the back of the clumsy person's knees. I know I said hypnotized, but I don't remember the actual show being that good - well, atleast not as good as that show with a talking car named KITT and an evil twin named KARR. Or even the one in which the main character could transform himself into any kind of animal that he wished.
At least Shatner's character is more appropriate for him in Boston Legal. I am just waiting to see how the producers would bring in Leanord Nimoy into the show.
