What is this blog about?

 

This is mainly to show family and friends that we are alive.  I don’t write or talk to them much, but they are one of the reasons I am setting this up.  It’s also a record of thoughts and sights that hopefully could be appreciated by my children when they grow up.  This site is like a project to me since I really can't find a lot of spare time.

 

 

Are all photos taken by you?

 

Yes, except where indicated.

 

 

Can I use any of the blog’s contents?

 

No for commercial use, ok for personal use as described in the footer.  Rights reserved under CC license. Associating any of the content with views not supported by the author is definitely not cool and is expressedly prohibited.

What did you use to create this?

 

EOS 10D, usually with 28-135 IS USM, 50mm 1.8, Sigma 20mm 1.8, occasionally with Pentax Optio S4i, done on both a Mac and a PC with Movable Type.

 

 

The pages appear distorted.  Is there anything wrong?

 

It should work well with the latest versions of most web browsers. Folks at SixApart are usually good with that.  Some photos might take a long time to load, you would need a bigger pipe if it takes too long.  I am, of course, assuming that I have got Movable Type at least 5% figured out.

 

 

Why is your css crap?

 

I have just migrated to Movably Type without any experience in any sort of code.  Bear with me. I can't even figure out why the table on this page has uneven dimensions. 

 

 

I have come to your page by accident, what should I do?

 

I am still considering the future direction of this blog.  There might be some sort of restrictions on the blog in the future if it becomes too personal.  I have an offline photolog as opposed to an online photoblog.  I am currently exploring the idea of putting it online.  Consider yourself thanked for visiting.
